What is a Stainless Steel Air Shower?
A Stainless Steel Air Shower serves as an important passage that you must go through when entering and exiting the cleanroom.
Providing an entry and exit passageway is not its only function. Rather it also plays the role of a closed airlock chamber for preventing the dirty air from entering the cleanroom.
People entering the cleanroom are a high source of contamination of the cleanroom environment and should always be properly cleaned before they enter, this is where a Stainless Steel Air Shower plays its role.
It is a box with rotatable nozzles installed at specific sites. It also contains filters for filtering out the contaminated air into the outside environment.
It has an air outlet that is exclusively designed for having a wind speed of approximately 18 to 22 meters per second.
The initial shower timing session is maintained at 10 seconds.
This time is enough to effectively remove dust from people’s bodies and clothes and allow them to safely enter the cleanroom.
